Milan make fresh contact for Sassuolo’s Domenico Berardi

Milan have now made fresh contact to potentially sign Sassuolo’s Domenico Berardi in the summer transfer window.

Alfredo Pedulla has reported about the future of Berardi, stating that the Italy international could depart the Neroverdin in the summer transfer window despite the fact that his contract at the club expires in the summer of 2027. If the right offer arrives, Berardi will definitely leave Sassuolo.

As things stand, Milan and Lazio are interested and the Rossoneri are have made for him in the last few hours. Sassuolo want a fee of €20 million plus €5 million to sell the winger and would be open to accepting a player in the deal from the potential suitor.

Berardi was one of the first players Maurizio Sarri wanted at the club and they are still keen. The Roman side could offer Matteo Cancellieri in the move for the Azzurri star. This could indeed be Berardi’s last season at the club and he could be playing in the Champions League next season.
