Milan not expected to make further major sales after Sandro Tonali

Milan have now decided that they will not make any further sales after the exit of midfielder Sandro Tonali.

The Italian star is expected to join Newcastle United this week, after an agreement between all the parties was reached last week and the deal progressed in a matter of 48 hours. Milan will earn over €70 million from Tonali’s sale.

Antonio Vitiello has reported that while the likes of Theo Hernandez, Pierre Kalulu and Mike Maignan have been linked with other clubs in recent weeks, the Rossoneri have closed the doors on any further major sales this summer. Till the end of the summer transfer window, they will only sell players that Stefano Pioli doesn’t consider to be part of his project.

Maignan has drawn links with a move to Chelsea, who are looking for a goalkeeper. Theo Hernandez also drew links with Chelsea and Manchester United, but it seems that the Rossoneri will not sell any important players anymore.
