Milan notch up new high point after 1st leg win over Napoli

Milan have notched up a new high point in their glittering history, as they picked up an impressive 1-0 win over Napoli in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-final.

The Rossoneri scored in the first half through Ismael Bennacer and then saw Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa get sent off in the second half. Napoli will miss both Zambo Anguissa and Kim Min-Jae in the second half and they could also be without Victor Osimhen.

While the Diavolo are in an advantageous position for the second leg, they have now never lost to an Italian side in the Champions League in their entire history. They have also kept five clean sheets, as per Opta.

Napoli did have some great spells in the game but they failed to make those chances count, as Milan made sure that they took a vital chance to score.

If Milan go through, they could face another Italian side in Milan in the semi-finals of the competition.
