Milan Skriniar will not leave Inter in January

With Inter defender Milan Skriniar’s contract set to expire in June, rumours are swirling about his destination.

PSG seemed the most likely destination, with there being suggestions that a move could be done in January for around €20 million.

However now PSG boss, Christophe Galtier has spoken on the subject. Reported by Sky Sports Italy, The Frenchman said that Paris Saint-Germain have “Never talked about reinforcements in defence in January”.

Today a new interested party has joined the hunt for Skriniar as FootMercato report that an unnamed English club have offered the Slovakian a pre-contract agreement which ‘gazumps’ the PSG offer.

With interest high in the quality 27-year-old, it will be interesting to see where he ends up playing his football come August. His contract ends during the end of the season and the defender has already informed the Nerazzurri that he will not sign the new deal proposed by them recently, with his agent confirming that he will bid adieu to the club.
