Milan Skriniar’s Inter season may be over already

There is a possibility that Milan Škriniar might have already played his last game for Inter this season, after having undergone a back surgery.

Inter have confirmed that the defender has undergone endoscopic surgery on his lumbar spine yesterday and they have also mentioned in the press release that he will follow a rehab programme in the next few weeks. But Sky Italia state that he will need atleast 30 days to 40 days to fully recover and they state that he might have already played his last game for the club.

He is set to join Paris Saint-Germain in the summer as he refused to sign a new deal with Inter and this means that his next game might as well come for PSG themselves.

It was previously reported that during the international break, Škriniar had consulted and met with PSG doctors to deal with a fitness issue and this was initially unknown to Inter. He has previously been taken out of the squad when he had agreed to join PSG and he was also stripped off captaincy.
