The entourage of Milan midfielder Sandro Tonali is in London to hold talks with Newcastle United.
It was reported in England that the Magpies have made an offer for Tonali, but it was reported later that the English side have offered to double his contract wage. But it has also been reported that the Magpies had an offer rejected for the player last week.
SportItalia, who were the first to pick up the news yesterday, have stated that Tonali’s entourage is in London to speak to Newcastle. Discussions are being held about Tonali’s contract.
There is talk of Newcastle offering a four or a five-year contract worth €6 million and going up with bonuses. Today, Tonali earns about €2.5 million euros per season at Milan.
It has previously been reported that Tonali could be tempted by a high wage from Newcastle, even though he isn’t currently keen on playing in England.
