Milan’s Ismael Bennacer and Fikayo Tomori to be ready for Tottenham clash

Milan stars Ismael Bennacer and Fikayo Tomori are expected to be ready for the Rossoneri’s upcoming Champions League Round of 16 first leg clash against Tottenham Hotspur.

Sky Italia claim that the Algerian and Englishman have already recovered from their injury issues and they will be in contention for selection against the English giants on Tuesday evening. Bennacer and Tomori have already trained with the first-team recently and that will come as good news for Milan.

It is expected that Stefano Pioli will go with a back three once again but it will now include Tomori. Rafael Leao and Olivier Giroud are also expected to start upfront in the 3-5-2 shape, with Davide Calabria expected to start at right wing-back again instead of Alexis Saelemaekers.

Alessandro Florenzi has also started training with the first-team, even though the Spurs game will be too early for his return. Zlatan Ibrahimovic was on the bench against Torino and he could feature against Tottenham as well.

Rodrigo Bentancur has already been ruled out for the rest of the season for Antonio Conte’s side, as he picked up a knee injury in the shock 4-1 loss to Leicester City.
