Naples’ mayor makes special arrangements for Napoli’s Scudetto celebrations

The city of Napoli is getting ready for the possible Scudetto celebrations and the local administration has decided to put in motion a severe safety plan, as reported by Sky Sport.

The most important decision is to ban the vehicular traffic around the city center from tomorrow at noon until Monday morning at 4:00 am, creating a pedestrian area designed to become the epicenter of the celebrations.

Napoli will play at home against Salernitana tomorrow afternoon at 15:00 C.E.T., a game that was initially scheduled for this afternoon.

After a request from the major of Napoli Gaetano Manfredi based on safety reasons, Lega Calcio have decided to move this game and to postpone next Napoli’s game against Udinese from May 2nd to May 4th.

Luciano Spalletti’s side have a 17-points lead over second placed Lazio with seven games left to play.

In order to grab the third Scudetto in club’s history, Napoli have to beat Salernitana while Lazio must not win against Inter with Maurizio Sarri’s side playing away at San Siro.
