Napoli manager Rudi Garcia has stated that club star Khvicha Kvaratskhelia needs to find more rhythm in his game to get back to older levels.
The Georgian has endured a frustrating start to the new season and he is yet to score. He was involved in Giovanni di Lorenzoโs goal for Napoli against Braga in the Champions League yesterday, but the winger couldnโt score yet again.ย
In fact, Kvaratskhelia hasnโt scored even once since the end of March and he has racked up three assists since then in what has been a frustrating period.
After the 2-1 win over Braga, Napoli boss Garcia spoke about the winger in the press conference and stated: โHe needs to play and find the rhythm, he also participated in the first goal with the cross for Di Lorenzoโs goal.โ
Victor Osimhen was also sparkling last season and while he future was in doubt, he ended up staying. Garcia also spoke about the Nigerianโs situation and his form.
โThen there is Osimhen who has fought and ran: thatโs what I expect from all my players, when we defend we all defend together.โ
Osimhen, unlike Kvaratskhelia, has been amongst the goals more often. The 24-year-old has three Serie A goals in four games.
