Serie A side Napoli are now one of the clubs interested in signing Roma striker Tammy Abraham and they see him as a potential replacement for Victor Osimhen.
Il Messaggero (via TMW) have reported that Jose Mourinho recognises how Abrahamโs output has reduced this season and there is an awareness at Roma that they may not be able to make a capital gain from the Englishmanโs sale this summer because he joined for a high amount.
Aston Villa are interested in the striker but Napoli are also one of the clubs looking at the ex-Chelsea man now. If Osimhen does depart in the summer, Abraham could be one of the candidates to replace the Nigerian.
Osimhen has been linked with a host of clubs across Europe โ including Manchester United and Bayern Munich. There is talk about Napoli potentially attempting to hand him a new deal, but there seems a higher likelihood of him departing the club this summer.
