Napoli make enquiry about Tottenham’s Giovani Lo Celso

Serie A winners Napoli have made an enquiry about the possibility of signing Tottenham midfielder Giovani Lo Celso.

Gianluca di Marzio has reported that the Partenopei recently sought information from Spurs about the Argentine. They offered the possibility of an initial loan deal with the option to buy him permanently. As things stand, the Lilywhites want to either sell the player permanently or on a loan deal with the obligation to buy. As things stand, there remains a distance between the two parties. 

Lo Celso spent last season on loan at La Liga side Villarreal and while he was in line to play in the World Cup, a muscle injury kept him out of the tournament.

Napoli did sign another Tottenham player on loan last season and that was Tanguy Ndombele, who won the Scudetto despite making too much of an impact. This might suggest that the relations between Spurs and Napoli and quite good.
