Gabri Veiga’s expected transfer to Napoli from Celta Vigo this summer is said to be blocked following an impasse.
According to a report by Gianluca Di Marzio, the Gabri Veiga deal between current Scudetto champions Napoli and La Liga side Celta Vigo is blocked in contractual talks.Â
Both clubs involved reached a verbal agreement on the transfer fees last week and a series of negotiations were expected this week to seal the deal by the end of it. However, as the process is unfurling, communications between the club is seeming to be a tedious ordeal. Celta are changing the terms of the deal at the last minute.
The 21-year-old is still waiting for the clubs to reach an official agreement as he is keen on the transfer.Â
Talks are predicted to resume today but the deal needs to be done quickly due to a shortage of time. Only nine days are left of the transfer window and a lack of progress from either club would lead to the cancellation of the deal.
