Roma star Zaniolo is a target for many of Europe’s top clubs at the moment, with the player yet to extend his current contract which runs out in the summer of 2024.
Corriere della Sera, have this morning reported that there are several teams currently asking questions about Zaniolo, and amongst these is the Premier Leagues surprise package, Newcastle who are lookikg to qualify for Champions League football.
Zaniolo suggested prior to Roma’s game against Genoa that his future is currently being decided, “My future? My agent will speak to the club,”
Despite this and the links to Newcastle, it was reported earlier in the window that Newcastle were not an option for the Italian Zaniolo, with Alfredo Pedulla stating these links are all but ‘fake news’.
It was suggested by Pedulla that Milan and Juventus hold an interest in the player, should he continue to run his contract down at Roma.
