The relationship between Roma and Nicolo Zaniolo continues to deteriorate, following the collapse of his possible transfer to Bournemouth.
Due to the fact Zaniolo pushed heavily for a transfer, with a view to Milan’s interest, Roma had accepted his departure.
This was all fine until Milan withdrew interest, and the next team to make a move was Bournemouth, a move vastly unappealing to a player of Zaniolo’s standing.
This has led to Roma taking the decision to exclude Zaniolo from its ‘technical project’ in the coming days, on top of this, disciplinary measures are expected to be taken against the Italian, reports Gianluca di Marzio.
Zaniolo will now be either sold for an ‘offer equal to that of Bournemouth’, or remain at Roma and out of Mourinho’s plans.
