Premier League side Aston Villa have now completed the signing of Italy international Nicolo Zaniolo from Galatasaray.
Zaniolo was linked with a move to Juventus over the last six months, even before Roma sold him to Gala. He has also been linked with a move to Milan in recent weeks.
But Villa have now confirmed the arrival of the Italian, who joins on an initial loan deal with the English side having the option to buy him permanently next summer. The total deal will cost the side about €27 million and that includes the loan fee and bonuses.
Unai Emery wanted the player and Monchi, who brought Zaniolo to Roma during his time at the Giallorossi, was keen on reuniting with the winger. Zaniolo has reignited his career during his time at Gala, after his time at Roma came to a stuttering halt when he was kept out of the project and the fans had protested against the player.
