Olivier Giroud and Brahim Díaz train with Milan squad ahead of Tottenham clash

Olivier Giroud and Brahim Díaz have both trained with the squad ahead of the Champions League last 16 second leg against Tottenham, a game which is scheduled for tomorrow.

Both players were in doubt until this morning but they’re expected to be travelling to London with the rest of the squad, as reported by Sky Sport.

It was reported yesterday evening that Giroud could have missed the game due fever with one between Divock Origi and Ante Rebic ready to take his place upfront. The Frenchman has recovered and he’s ready to start the game alongside Rafael Leao.

Brahim Díaz missed the last Serie A game against Fiorentina due to a sprained knee. He has recovered too in time for the London trip but it’s likely he’ll start from the bench with Rade Krunic likely to start over Charles De Ketelaere in the line-up.

The Spaniard scored the winning goal in the first leg and helped his side in winning 1-0 by at San Siro. In order to get through, the Rossoneri have to either win or draw.

Finally, French goalkeeper Mike Maignan has been included in Milan’s UEFA roster, taking Ciprian Tatarusanu’s spot. Antonio Mirante will be the back-up keeper.
