Olivier Giroud could help Milan in move for Chelsea’s Christian Pulisic

Milan are interested in the possibility of signing Chelsea’s Christian Pulisic in the summer and while other profiles are also being looked at, Olivier Giroud could play a role in helping Milan land the American.

Daniele Longo has reported that Milan are looking to bolster in atleast three positions in the summer – striker, central midfielder and right winger. For the role of a right winger, several profiles are being evaluated. Reiss Nelson is one of them and so are Adama Traore and Marco Asensio. Pulisic is also a player who interests them.

Relations between Chelsea and Milan are excellent and the parties have spoken about both Pulisic and midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek. Pulisic’s contract at Chelsea runs out in the summer of 2024 and he wants to leave the club in the upcoming transfer window, with the Rossoneri ready to make an attempt if the move meets their conditions.

But a key component of a potential move could be the presence of Giroud, who has recently praised Pulisic when asked about the possibility of a move to the San Siro. There is a chance that the Frenchman speaks to his ex-Chelsea teammate and convince him about a move to Milan and this could prove vital for the Rossoneri in the summer.
