Saudi Arabian side Al-Hilal have come forward for Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Marco Verratti.
Verratti has been linked with a move to Roma in recent weeks, with Jose Mourinho having called the Italian but the move is complex because of the player’s wage demands.
Alfredo Pedulla has reported that an important proposal has arrived from Al-Hilal and the player and his entourage are making reflections about his future, with no decision having been made yet. He will reflect on his future for a few more days and then make a decision.
Verratti is not satisifed with the season he had at PSG and is left frustrated by the criticism he faced from fans. Apart from Saudi Arabia, Spain could be a potential destination for him as he would need to take a significant wage cut to have a chance of returning to Italy and play in the Serie A for the first time.
