Juventus’ Paul Pogba has vowed to make sure that he will help the Bianconeri fans win trophies during his second stint at the club.
The Frenchman’s time at Juve since his return hasn’t been smooth and injuries have constantly kept him out. He missed the Old Lady’s first game of the season but he returned to action against Bologna earlier today, as Max Allegri’s side were held to a 1-1 draw.
The 30-year-old spoke to DAZN (via TMW) after the draw against the Rossoblu and he stated that he wants to win trophies for the club’s fans and that he missed playing football during his time out.
“I miss playing, I’m very well physically and I want to get back on top. I’m as hungry as I was in the early days, I’m hungry to work and to win. I’m only 30 and I want to give trophies to these fans.”
He also gave his views about the game and stated: “I’m very happy to be back on the pitch and doing what I love, I’m here to help the team. I’m happy, however, a little disappointed with today’s result, we could have earned three points today. The good thing is that we didn’t lose, we have to learn more but let’s take this point and work for the next game.”
Pogba had come on for young Nicolo Fagioli in the game and played around 30 minutes of the game. These are positive signs for Juve, who saw Samuel Iling Junior come up with an assist during his time on the pitch for the Dusan Vlahovic goal.
