Paul Pogba and Federico Chiesa train with Juventus squad ahead of Turin derby

Juventus welcomed their fans for today’s training, which was the first one after Thursday’s win in the Europa League against Nantes. As reported by Romeo Agresti, both Paul Pogba and Federico Chiesa have trained with the squad.

The two players are set to be called-up for Tuesday’s game, when Juventus will face Torino at home in a much anticipated derby.

Chiesa has missed the last two Juventus’ games across all competitions due to muscle fatigue and today’s training was his first with the squad over the last seven days. He worked with his team mates during the majority of the session, missing only the final match.

He’s likely to get some playing time, probably starting from the bench as coach Massimiliano Allegri will probably start the game with Ángel Di María and Dušan Vlahović upfront.

Pogba is yet to make his second Juventus’ debut. Since he signed as free agent last June, he has never played due to a knee injury that ruled him out since August and forced him to miss the World Cup in Qatar.

He was on the bench against Monza on January 29th but he then suffered some muscle fatigue and he has never been included in the squad since then.
