Massimiliano Allegri has announced that Paul Pogba remains injured for Juventus despite his return previously being touted as imminent.
As reported by Corriere Della Sera, Allegri has confirmed Pogba has some โsoreness in the flexorโ after a return to training.
Allegri added that he wouldnโt have expected โa contribution from a player who has made 15 days of preparation since April, no one does miraclesโ, continuing that Pogbaโs situation will take time in order for him to get up to speed.
Pogbaโs fitness woes have frustrated Juventus fans, especially as photos of him skiing had came to light, with fans questioning his decision making.
La Pioche hasnโt played a game since April 19th, when he was still a player for Manchester United. The French-man joined Juventus in July after his contract expired, allowing him to finalise his long speculated return to Turin where he first made waves in European football.
The midfielder was on the bench for the club against Monza last weekend and even though the Old Lady lost the game 2-0, the Frenchman did not come on to make his second debut for the Bianconeri.
