Paul Pogba has Juventus return delayed again

Massimiliano Allegri has announced that Paul Pogba remains injured for Juventus despite his return previously being touted as imminent.

As reported by Corriere Della Sera, Allegri has confirmed Pogba has some ‘soreness in the flexor’ after a return to training.

Allegri added that he wouldn’t have expected “a contribution from a player who has made 15 days of preparation since April, no one does miracles”, continuing that Pogba’s situation will take time in order for him to get up to speed.

Pogba’s fitness woes have frustrated Juventus fans, especially as photos of him skiing had came to light, with fans questioning his decision making.

La Pioche hasn’t played a game since April 19th, when he was still a player for Manchester United. The French-man joined Juventus in July after his contract expired, allowing him to finalise his long speculated return to Turin where he first made waves in European football.

The midfielder was on the bench for the club against Monza last weekend and even though the Old Lady lost the game 2-0, the Frenchman did not come on to make his second debut for the Bianconeri.
