Paul Pogba set to start for Juventus against Cremonese

Midfielder Paul Pogba seems set to start a game for the first time since joining Juventus, when the Bianconeri take on Cremonese later today.

Pogba has faced multiple injury issues this season and while they have left Juventus frustrated, he has now returned to action. The Frenchman had assisted Federico Gatti in the club’s 1-1 draw against Sevilla in the semi-final first leg of the Europa League, drawing praise from Max Allegri.

The Juve boss had stated that Pogba would start when he is fully fit to and Sky Italia have reported today that the ex-Manchester United man will start a game for the first time this season against the Cremona-based club. 

Mattia Perin is also expected to start in goal for the club, with Gatti set to keep his place from the game against the Andalusians. Pogba is expected to be partnered in midfield by Leandro Paredes, with Federico Chiesa also set to start. Pogba’s France teammate Adrien Rabiot is also expected to feature.
