Paul Pogba is still not fully fit and he is unlikely to be fully fit for Juventus’ Serie A opener next month.
Juve will take on Udinese in their first game of the season in August but are currently undergoing a training camp in the United States. Their pre-season friendly against Barcelona was called off but Pogba’s situation still isn’t perfect.
Gianluca di Marzio’s Pazzi di Fanta report that Pogba is still not training with the first-team despite being the USA, as he is still behind the others in terms of his fitness and conditioning. Max Allegri organised training at the time when the Barcelona game was supposed to be played and Pogba didn’t take part in that.
As things stand, his preparation mostly consists of personalized work in the gym, with the exercise bike or training alone on the pitch. He is said to be struggling with a knee problem for a year now and it isn’t fully resolved yet and he will likely not be fit in time for the Udinese clash and will take some more days to be fully fit.
