PLAYER RATINGS I Roma 1-1 Milan

It was a crazy 1-1 draw at the Stadio Olimpico between Roma and Milan, with both goals coming in stoppage time.

It was not an entertaining game in terms of chances as not a single shot on target was registered until the 94th minute saw Tammy Abraham fire it past Mike Maignan, breaking the deadlock for the Giallorossi.

Jose Mourinho’s side believed to have won it but in the 97th minute, Alexis Saelemaekers found the net with a close-range deflection on Rafael Leao’s cross.

The two teams are now stuck in fourth place as they fight over a Champions League spot. They could be joined by Inter, if the Nerazzurri win against Lazio tomorrow.

Both teams had to deal with injuries. Roma coach Jose Mourinho had been forced to substitute Marash Kumbulla early in the game and that’s the worst possbile news for the Special One, who is already dealing with the absences of Chris Smalling and Diego Llorente. He is now left with just two defenders: Gianluca Mancini and Roger Ibanez.

Andrea Belotti was subbed off too at the end of the first half after a blow to the stomach and on top of that, Paulo Dybala stayed on the bench in the entire game. He did not even warm up, as he was not fully fit due to an ankle problem.

On the other hand, Milan lost Fikayo Tomori to injury at the end of the first half. His condition will be evaluated in order to understand if he’ll be fit for the Champions League semifinals but he will miss the next Serie A game against Cremonese due to suspension.
