With plenty of interest heating up from the Serie A for the Iranian international, Porto have set hefty price-tag for star forward Mehdi Taremi.
Sky Italia reports that the Portuguese giants are asking for a fee of no lower than €25m for the 30 year-old clinical finisher.
As it stands, Inter are keen on Taremi as they have identified him as a possible alternative for Romelu Lukaku after negotiations for the Belgian have fallen apart as a result of the Chelsea forward having held discussions with Juventus behind the scenes, causing frustration within the Nerazzurri camp.
In addition, cross-city rivals Milan are also intrigued in signing the number nine as the Rossonerri have made contact with Porto earlier today, as reported Antonio Vitello, in order to commence negotiations between both parties.
Within last year’s campaign, Taremi demonstrated fine consistency in front of goal, attaining 22 goals and seven assists within 33 matches played within the Primeira Liga.
With plenty of time remaining within the summer market, it remains to be seen what Taremi and his agent Jorge Mendes decide as an option ahead of this year’s campaign.
