PREDICTED LINE-UPS | Eintracht Frankfurt v Napoli

Napoli are being tipped as one of the favourites to win the Champions League this season but their first challenge in the knockout stages of the competition sees them take on the reigning Europa League champions in Eintracht Frankfurt.

Currently top of the league in Serie A, the Partenopei might already have one hand on the title and the fact that they are already out of the Coppa Italia means that they could take the Champions League seriously, without feeling the hinderance of other competitions.

But Frankfurt are no pushovers. They arrived into the Round of 16 of the competition after finishing second in a rather stiff group which involved Tottenham, Sporting and Marseille. While Spurs finished top, Frankfurt finished second.

While they might be out of the top four in the Bundesliga, they could yet easily finish inside the Champions League spots, having been propelled by Randal Kolo Muani’s impressive performances upfront. A case can be made for the Frenchman to be one of the best strikers on the planet right now, but Victor Osimhen is right up there too.

Both of the mercurial frontmen are expected to start for their sides today and that will make the game an enticing watch. Here’s how the sides could line-up, as per Sky Italia.

Eintracht Frankfurt predicted line-up: Trapp; Tuta, Hasebe, N’Dicka; Buta, Sow, Kamada, Max; Lindstrom, Gotze; Kolo Muani

Napoli predicted line-up: Meret; Di Lorenzo, Rrahmani, Kim, Mario Rui; Anguissa, Lobotka, Zielinski; Lozano, Osimhen, Kvaratskhelia
