PREDICTED LINE-UPS | Genoa v Roma

After getting held to a 1-1 draw in their previous game, Roma will aim to build some momentum to their stride this season when they face Genoa tonight at the Luigi Ferraris.

Since picking up an emphatic win against Lazio at the end of August, Genoa haven’t managed to register a single victory in the Serie A. Their last three matches ended in two defeats and a hard-fought draw versus Napoli. Alberto Gilardino’s side were on course to secure a point from a goalless stalemate in their last game but Lecce’s Remi Oudin popped up on the scoresheet in the 83rd minute to snatch the three points for his team. Genoa have a fairly challenging October coming up and they will look to secure a win today.

Meanwhile, Roma approach this match on the back of a frustrating 1-1 draw with Torino. New signing Romelu Lukaku opened the scoring in the 68th minute to set his team up nicely for a potential victory but the Giallorossi faltered late when Duvan Zapata netted the equaliser. Jose Mourinho’s side have only managed a single win in their opening five fixtures of the new season and are going through an enduring period. However, Roma have remained undefeated since that 7-0 thrashing of Empoli.

Here are the predicted line-ups for the match according to Sky Italia:

Genoa (3-4-1-1-1): Martinez; Bani, Dragusin, Vasquez; De Winter, Strootman, Badelj, Frendrup; Malinovskyi; Gudmundsson; Retegui.

Roma (3-4-1-2): Rui Patricio; Mancini, Llorente, Ndicka; Karsdorp, Cristante, Paredes, Spinazzola; Pellegrini; Dybala, Lukaku.
