PREDICTED LINE-UPS | Lecce v Milan

Milan will aim to get back to winning ways in the league when they face 14th-placed Lecce today afternoon at the Stadio Comunale Via del Mare.

Milan approach this game on the back of a thrilling 2-1 victory over Paris Saint-Germain which restored their hopes of progressing to the knockouts of the Champions League. Despite their European success, the Rossoneri are winless in their previous three Serie A outings, losing to Juventus and Udinese while settling for a hard-fought 2-2 draw with current Scudetto holders Napoli. Today’s fixture is a great opportunity for them to establish some momentum to their campaign and pile pressure on Juventus and Inter at the top of the table.

Meanwhile, Lecce will aim to shrug off their winless run of seven consecutive matches across all competitions today. Their chances are slim against Milan but the Apulia-based side will be happy to walk away with a point. The Salentini are five points safe from the relegation zone and a string of points in their next few games would prove crucial at the end of the season for survival. Lecce departed from the Coppa Italia run for this year when they lost 4-2 to Serie B side Parma.

Here are the predicted line-ups for the match according to La Repubblica:

Lecce (4-3-3): Falcone; Gendrey, Baschirotto, Pongracic, Gallo; Kaba, Ramadani, Rafia; Strefezza, Krstovic, Banda.

Milan (4-3-3): Maignan; Calabria, Tomori, Thiaw, Hernandez; Loftus-Cheek, Krunic, Reijnders; Chukwueze, Giroud, Leao.
