Napoli take on Lecce on Friday evening, as they attempt to get back to winning in Serie A and that isn’t something we have heard too often this season.
Currently 16 points clear at the top of the league and still very much close to winning the Scudetto, the Partenopei lost 4-0 to Napoli in their previous game in what was a rather shocking result. It was only their third loss of the season, after having lost to Lazio and Inter earlier in the campaign.
Victor Osimhen was missing from the Milan game due to injury and Sky Italia don’t expect the Nigerian to start today. Giacomo Raspadori is expected to start for Luciano Spalletti’s side, with Eljif Elmas also expected to start.
As for Lecce, they find themselves at 16th in the Serie A table but they haven’t won a single game since their triumph over Atalanta back in the second week of February and it came in arguably the most productive spell of the season as well.Â
Samuel Umtiti had not featured in their loss to Empoli and Sky expect him to return at centre-back today. Alexis Blin is suspended, with Youssef Maleh set to return.
