PREDICTED LINE-UPS | Napoli v Atalanta

After sustaining a blow against Lazio in their previous outing, league leaders Napoli will aim to get back to winning ways when they take on Atalanta today at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona.

The Partenopei are flying high this season and they look set to clinch the Scudetto as they are 15 points clear of second-placed Inter. Manager Luciano Spalletti will see the defeat against the Biancocelesti as a little snag in an otherwise near-perfect season.

Matias Vecino’s 67th-minute strike stood as the difference as Lazio strengthened their top-four hopes but Napoli possesses an advantage today to increase the difference at the top spot after Inter fell prey to Spezia.

With an impeccable goalscoring rate and defensive standards this season, the Scudetto can be suggested to be firmly in Napoli’s hands. They will look to grab the three points from this match before continuing their stride in the Champions League against Eintracht Frankfurt.

Meanwhile, today’s visitors, Atalanta are currently enduring a three-game winless run. They fell to lowly Lecce in mid-February before getting dominated by Milan. In their latest fixture, La Dea could only grab a point from a goalless draw with Udinese.

After showing a graceful start to the new season, Atalanta have fallen out of top four races due to recent performances. Despite their shortcomings, they will look to build on their history with Napoli. The Bergamese side have scored in each of their last nine meetings with the Partenopei and they will hope to make it ten in a row today.

Here are the predicted starting lineups for today’s fixture:

Napoli (4-3-3): Meret; Di Lorenzo, Kim, Rrahmani, Olivera; Anguissa, Lobotka, Zielinski; Politano, Osimhen, Kvaratskhelia

Atalanta (3-4-3): Musso; Toloi, Demiral, Djimsiti; Maehle, De Roon, Ederson, Ruggeri; Boga; Lookman, Hojlund
