Former Napoli and Valencia boss Rino Gattuso is close to becoming the new manager of Ligue 1 side Lyon.
Gattuso was sacked by Valencia some months ago but he had taken the Partenopei to silverware during his time at the Maradona.
Gianluca di Marzio has reported that the Italian is edging close to becoming the new Lyon boss and as of now, only the last few details are remaining for the appointment to be completely done.
Both parties will try to reach an agreement in the last few hours, with Lyon trying to make sure that he is in-charge before their next game against Le Havre at the weekend. They will try to make sure that Gattuso flies to France in the next few hours.
Gattuso is keen on returning to management soon, with Lyon having sacked Laurent Blanc quite recently. The Italian will likely end up at Lyon with his entire staff.
