Roberto de Zerbi has cheap release in Brighton contract

Roberto de Zerbi has made a huge impact at Brighton and Hove Albion within the space of some months and it is now reported that the Italian has a cheap release clause in his contract.

Daniele Longo has reported about the Italian manager, stating that the Italian has a release clause of €13 million in his current deal, with the ex-Sassuolo boss already having captured the hearts of many Seagulls fans this season.

This comes after La Repubblica have written about the situation of Stefano Pioli at Milan and the Rossoneri’s potential managerial targets, if Pioli leaves the club at some point this season or in the summer. They suggest that De Zerbi and Spurs boss Antonio Conte are potential targets but signing them will be an uphill task.

De Zerbi took over at Brighton from Graham Potter and as things stand, they are sixth in the Premier League and in a potential Europa League spot.
