Roberto Gagliardini responds to Juventusโ€™ Adrien Rabiot: โ€œGo call your motherโ€

Monza midfielder Roberto Gagliardini has responded to Adrien Rabiotโ€™s comments about him, stating that things that happen on the pitch should stay on the pitch.

Gagliardiniโ€™s premature celebration against Juve yesterday hadnโ€™t just met with a late Federico Gatti goal but also with a scathing Instagram post from Rabiot, who stated that the game is never over until the referee blows for full time and asked the Italian to โ€˜be humbleโ€™ and to remember the lesson from the game.

But the ex-Inter man hasnโ€™t decided to back away from responding. In an Instagram post from the Monza man, he states: โ€œThings that happen on the field stay on the field, not on social media. Go call your motherโ€

Gagliardini was caught celebrating in front of Rabiot, essentially mocking the Frenchman after Valentin Carboni seemed to have all but sealed a point from the game. But Gattiโ€™s late goal proved vital, handing Juve all three points and taking them to the top of the table for the time being.ย

Rabiotโ€™s mother is his agent currently and isnโ€™t a popular figure, having annoyed a host of clubs in the past.
