Roma and Atalanta interested in Arsenal’s Reiss Nelson

A host of clubs are keeping tabs on the situation of Arsenal’s Reiss Nelson and that includes Serie A sides Roma and Atalanta.

Marco Conterio has reported that Arsenal do not want to lose Nelson on a free transfer in the summer but multiple clubs are interested in the player and some have already made contact for the 23-year-old. Atalanta and Roma like the player and have already been in touch for him. Ligue 1 side Rennes are also interested and they too have made contact for the winger.

In recent months, La Dea have a proven track record of signing players from England and making hay with them, as evident from the performances of Ademola Lookman this season. Roma meanwhile, have already sealed the signing of Houssem Aouar and they are looking for more players to sign for free, with reports suggestive of an agreement for Evan Ndicka.

Nelson has been important for Arsenal this season, contributing to five goals in just as many games for the club.
