Roma & Atalanta eyeing Rangers starlet Ross McCausland

Serie A pair Roma and Atalanta have both identified an up-and-coming talent at Scottish giants Rangers as a potential addition.

That’s according to VoceGiallorossa, who have today revealed that Gers youngster Ross McCausland could soon make his way to Italy.

McCausland is a 20-year-old attacker, who generally lines out on the wing. A senior Northern Ireland international, the starlet is a product of the Rangers academy setup, managing five appearances across the season to date.

Making McCausland such an interest target for Roma and Atalanta alike, though, is his contract situation.

The youngster’s current terms at Ibrox are due to come to an end next summer, with McCausland understood to have little interest in a renewal.

He could therefore be snapped up as a free agent ahead of next season, or even for a nominal fee of around €450,000 in January.
