Roma chiefs angry as Nicolo Zaniolo inches towards stay

Nicolò Zaniolo has rejected Bournemouth as many people thought he would, Zaniolo perceives Bournemouth as an underwhelming option which is too far from family.

So it now seems Zaniolo will remain at Roma, however its been reported by CalcioMercato’s Daniele Longo that Roma owner Dan Friedkin, has been left furious by Zaniolo’s reluctance and has made the Italian aware that he risks being sidelined as a result.

It’s been added that all parties involved are trying to convince Zaniolo to make the move, apart from the player himself who seems to be totally against the idea.

Zaniolo has drawn links from all over through the window, such as Milan, Tottenham, Arsenal and Newcastle, all more promising options for the player than Bournemouth would be. Milan were keen but they have pulled out of the move.

With merely four days of the window remaining all eyes will be on Roma and Zaniolo for any last minute deals.
