Newly acquired Roma defender Evan Ndicka is eager to start playing in front of the Giallorossi fans within the historical Stadio Olimpico.
After having decided to not renew with German outfits Eintracht Frankfurt at the end of this year’s current campaign, the 23 year-old central defender has agreed to sign with Mourinho’s side on a five-year deal, which runs until the summer of 2027.
The Frenchman has attracted many suitors within Italy, such as the pair of Milanese clubs, following his brilliant displays as Ndicka took part in 43 games across all competitions for the German outfits, but has decided to join Roma despite the Giallorossi missing out on Champions League football within the upcoming campaign.
As relayed by TMW, Ndicka reveals his reasons for selecting Roma as his next club after ending his five year-stay at Frankfurt:
“The project that was illustrated to me, together with the history and prestige of this club, prompted me to come to Rome, a fantastic city that loves and thrives on football: I can’t wait to take the field at the Olimpico in front of my new fans and to be able to give my contribution to the achievement of our goals”.
