Roma executives will be in London today to speak to Chelsea about the potential signing of Romelu Lukaku.
The Giallorossi have emerged as one of the favourites to land the Belgian and they have already made first contact for the striker. Sky Italia are keeping a close eye on the situation and they state that Roma sporting director Tiago Pinto and Ryan Friedkin will land in London soon enough today.
Their private flight will land at the Farnborough Airport later in the evening today and they will then be present in the stands for Chelsea’s Premier League game against Luton Town and they will use that as a chance to start talks with the Blues for Lukaku.
Today is likely to be decisive for Lukaku’s situation, with Chelsea having opened up to the possibility of loaning him out this summer. Talks have officially begun since first contact was made today and Roma are hoping to land the 30-year-old on a loan deal.
