Roma interested in Paris Saint-Germain’s Renato Sanches

Roma are interested in the possibility of signing Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Renato Sanches.

Gianluca di Marzio has reported that Sanches is someone that Roma are interested in and they see him as a potential alternative to Davide Frattesi, the race for whom is getting complicated. Roma have not given up on the Italian but are preparing for alternative plans.

The Giallorossi also wanted to sign the Portuguese midfielder last summer but he ended up picking Paris Saint-Germain, where he has failed to make a mark. He is now leaving PSG and is liked a lot by Jose Mourinho and club sporting director Tiago Pinto. Frattesi remains the first choice but the competition for him has been described as ‘fierce’, with Milan and Inter also keen.

Roma have good relations with PSG and that is evidenced by their loan deal for Gini Wijnaldum last summer and he was returned from the stint at the Giallorossi.
