Roma make contact for Real Madrid’s Nacho Fernandez

Roma are interested in a January move for Real Madrid defender Nacho Fernandez.

Marco Conterio has reported that Roma are working on incomings and outgoings this month but are not ruling out any other moves, apart from operations involving Nicolo Zaniolo, Eldor Shomurodov and Rick Karsdorp. Tiago Pinto is working on those moves and he is working hard to find a centre-back this month.

Nacho is someone who is liked by Jose Mourinho and Roma have made contact for the defender regarding a move this month. Mourinho likes the idea of bringing the player to Roma this month but an agreement is not expected to be easy for the defender. That is largely because another club is much more advanced in their chase for the player regarding a summer transfer.

The 33-year-old Spaniard has made eight La Liga appeaances so far this season and has played four times in the Champions League so far.
