Roma are making progress in a move for Leeds United defender Rasmus Kristensen, who could leave Elland Road after just one season.
Gianluca di Marzio has reported that Roma have made significant progress in their move for the 25-year-old Kristensen, who has already given his approval to a move to the Stadio Olimpico this summer. Contact was recently initiated with the defender, who is willing to make the switch and Roma will now seek to find an agreement with Leeds.
It will likely be a loan move and since Leeds’ relegation to the Championship, there is a high chance of the player’s exit this summer. Kristensen was a player that Roma were keen to land during his time at RB Salzburg but the Austrian club’s demands were too high back then. Because of Leeds’ relegation, Roma believe that they have the right chance to sign the right-back.
Last season, the 25-year-old made 26 appearances in the Premier League, scoring thrice and picking up one assist.
