Serie A side Roma are now expected to seal a move for Leeds United defender Rasmus Kristensen.
Gianluca di Marzio has reported about Roma’s interest in a couple of Leeds players, with one being Diego Llorente and the other being Kristensen. Talks are on between the two clubs for the players and a deal for Llorente will close today, with the Spaniard expected to join the Giallorossi on a dry loan deal.
Roma did want to have an obligation to buy the player permanently but they failed in that regard, with previous reports stating that the obligation to buy could have existed if Llorente played half the games in the season.
When it comes to Kristensen, an agreement is expected to be reached next week and even for him, Roma will not have any option or obligation to buy the player permanently. Both players have a relegation clause in their deals and now that Leeds are in the Championship, they are leaving.
