Roma have been pursuing Rasmus Kristensen for a while and will soon make new contact with him in an effort to agree a deal, as reported by Gianluca di Marzio. Roma are asking for a potential loan deal if a permanent transfer cannot be agreed.
Kristensen has only been at Leeds for a year after moving from Salzburg for โฌ15 million last summer. The Dane started 21 Premier League games as the English club were unfortunately relegated. He was one of the better performers in a team that conceded an astounding 78 goals.
Jose Mourinho is pushing for more defensive reinforcements, after Roma have already signed Evan NโDicka and Houssem Aouar in what has been a brilliant start to the transfer window.
Kristensen is 25 years old and has good versatility. He can slot in either as a centre back or a right back, which will be useful for Roma as right back is an area where they have struggled for the past two years.
