Roma set to sign Evan Nโ€™dicka on a free transfer

Serie A side Roma have now sealed their move for French defender Evan Nโ€™dicka, who will arrive after his contract at Eintracht Frankfurt expired.

Sky Italia have now confirmed that the French left-footed defender will join the Giallorossi on a free transfer, with the player set to sign a five-year deal with the club. The Frenchman will arrive in the Italian capital soon later today.

Milan had also tried to sign Nโ€™dicka in recent weeks but Roma were always said to be confident about sealing the move for him, having offered a higher wage packet to the player. Despite the Rossoneriโ€™s attempts, Roma have now sealed the transfer.

Nโ€™Dicka won the Europa League with Eintracht Frankfurt last season and he usually played at left centre-back in the German clubโ€™s 3-4-2-1 system, which is similar to the Giallorossi. He will be Romaโ€™s second free transfer this summer, as they have already sealed a move for Houssem Aouar.
