Roma star Paulo Dybala’s injury not serious

Roma star Paulo Dybala picked up an injury yesterday but it is not serious and the Argentine is expected to return to action at some point soon.

La Gazzetta dello Sport state that La Joya suffered a blow to his knee yesterday and he was taken off against Cagliari by a much disappointed Jose Mourinho, who still managed to guide his side to a 4-1 win over Claudio Ranieri’s men. But Dybala was reportedly taken secrety to the Villa Stuart yesterday to make sure that he could undergo medical test as soon as possible.

There, he underwent magnetic resonance and the outcome has been generally positive. There is only a minor strain on the collateral ligament of the Argentine, who is in pain but he could return for Roma right after the international break and he will miss the next two games for the Albiceleste.

If Dybala wants to take his time to recover, he could target a return against Inter on the 29th of October at the San Siro, which will also see Romelu Lukaku return where he had spent some fruitful years after a painful betrayal.
