Roma to soon have vital meeting for Atalanta’s Duvan Zapata

Roma are keen on closing a move for Atalanta’s Duvan Zapata and they are set to have a vital meeting for the striker.

Il Messaggero (via TMW) state today that Atalanta will consider Zapata to be an important part of the project and the fact that he featured against Sassuolo shows that. A move to Roma remains possible and today, a meeting takes place between Atalanta and Tiago Pinto today and it will determine the feasibility of the move.

As things stand, Atalanta would only want to sell Zapata on a permanent basis and they want at least €10 million to part ways with the Colombian, who remains interested in the move to the Giallorossi. Roma are offering an initial loan deal with the obligation to buy to be triggered when he plays 50 percent of the games in the season.

That idea doesn’t appeal to Atalanta yet but there is a feeling at Roma that the deal could close because the two clubs remain in conversation for the exit of the player.
