Roma yet to hold meeting over Jose Mourinho’s future

Despite reports stating otherwise, Roma are yet to hold a meeting over Jose Mourinho’s future at the club.

Sky Italia have reported about Mourinho’s situation at the club, stating that the manager’s future is a key issue at the club and that is why a meeting with the Friedkins is vital. But despite reports earlier today stating that a meeting has been held, it has not taken place yet.

As Il Messaggero reported earlier today, Mourinho did meet Dan Friedkin today and he did say a brief goodbye to Ryan Friedkin after the Europa League final against Sevilla, but no formal meeting was held. Il Messaggero had stated that both Mourinho and Dan Friedkin were at Trigoria at the same time but a formal talk about the manager’s future was never held. Sky Italia mirror the same information.

There is currently no information about when a meeting will be held, with Mourinho set to go on vacation on Monday – something he had confirmed in the press conference after the loss in Budapest.
