Roma’s Nicolo Zaniolo considering Bournemouth offer as Milan pull out

Nicolo Zaniolo is now considering Bournemouth’s offer to join them despite previous reports suggesting that he was not interested.

Sky Italia have reported that Milan have now pulled out of the chase to land the Italian. They have informed Roma that they cannot meet the asking price that they have set up after they had initially asked for 24 hours to make a decision. Milan’s decision has also been communicated to the player’s agents.

In recent days, in fact, Milan were thinking about a loan offer with an obligation to buy in the event of qualification for the Champions League, but with lower figures than Roma’s request.

Bournemouth have already had an offer of €30 million plus bonuses and a sell-on clause accepted by Roma and while the player was initially keen on joining a ‘top club’, he is now considering the Cherries’ offer. Bournemouth are now also trying to convince the player to join them this month.
