Torino have now sealed the deal for Verona midfielder Ivan Ilic and this will allow for Sasa Lukic to move to Premier League side Fulham.
Marco Conterio had reported about Fulham’s interest in the Serbian midfielder Lukic yesterday and he has now provided an update, stating that these are ‘hot hours’ in the Granata transfer window. Lukic’s exit will make room for Ilic, who is now set to head to the Grande Torino despite Marseille’s constant insistence regarding the move.
At one point, it seemed as Ilic would pick Marseille but he has now picked Torino and he will stay in Serie A. Meanwhile, Lukic will head to Fulham. The London side offered Torino €8 million for the transfer and have readied a contract for the midfielder, who will earn €2 million plus bonuses in a a deal which will expire in the summer of 2026. The move to Craven Cottage is all but set to go through.
