League leaders Inter will hope to consolidate their position at the top of the pile when they face 7th-placed Roma tomorrow at San Siro.

Inter head into this match on the back of a 2-1 victory against RB Salzburg in the Champions League. Alexis Sanchez opened the scoring in the 19th minute and both sides administered an equal contest hereafter. The Austrians levelled the scoreline in the 57th minute through an Oscar Gloukh goal before Hakan Calhanoglu thumped in from the spot for the winner seven minutes later.ย 

The Nerazzurri are just a point clear of second-placed Milan in the league standings after mustering an unbeaten run of five consecutive matches across all competitions. Simeone Inzaghiโ€™s side have scored a staggering 24 goals in the league till now and at the same time conceding only five.ย 

Inter will look to end their upcoming challenge positively as this would further strengthen their hold on the Scudetto.ย 

Meanwhile, Roma will aim to make it six wins in a row across all competitions when they face the league leaders. The Giallorossi have recovered from their stuttered start to the season and have moved up to 7th place in the table despite looming around the relegation zone at the beginning.ย 

Jose Mourinhoโ€™s men have recorded three wins from their first three matches in the Europa League, scoring eight goals and conceding only one. The capital side are three points short of 4th-placed Napoli and a run of positive results would help them climb further up the table.
